Pre 74 Turkish title deeds

I am thinking of buying a property with Pre 74 Turkish title deeds but I am worried about this turn of events (government refusing to hand them over), has anybody got any advice.

We are under the opinion that since the EU ruling making the Turkish Immovable Property Comission the 1st port of call for compensation for Greek Cypriot, its will no longer be in the TRNC governments best intresets to withhold these titles.

How do you think the election of a new President will affect getting hold of the title deeds?
